The Centre Gilles Gaston Granger is a joint research unit of the University of Aix-Marseille (Aix-Marseille Université – AMU) and the National Center for Scientific Research (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). It’s part of the Maison de la Recherche on the site of the Faculté de Lettres in Aix-en-Provence, but is also present on the Saint-Charles campus in Marseille.

The conference « DE MOTU: Text, Context and Perspectives » is organized by Bertil Belfrage, professor Emeritus at the University of Lund (Sweden), and Pascal Taranto, professor at Aix-Marseille University (France) and director of the Centre Gilles Gaston Granger.

The conference will take place from October 3 to 7, 2022 at Université d’Aix-Marseille – Site Schuman, Bâtiment Multimédia , Salle de colloque 2, 29 Av. Robert Schuman 13621 Aix-en-Provence Cedex 1. The Bâtiment Multimédia building is located in front of the Maison de la Recherche.


To come to the Maison de la Recherche (European Summer School) :

  • From the airport or the train station (TGV), take the shuttle bus that will take you to the Aix-en-Provence bus station.
  • From there, you can either walk – about 15 minutes – or take the bus (you can choose your transportation options by clicking on plus d’options on the map below) .
